Just got the trany and the Rear end changed over to Sythetic fluids. While doing that, found out AGAIN, my left rear axle drum area is showing signs of leaking gear lube. After the third time service (replacing seal), this is getting to be more of an a$$ pain than a charm...And if your Jeep has a Dana 44 rearend, certain early versions of the Dana 35 for Wranglers, or any ZJ or WJ Dana 35, the rear seals are pressed behind the axle … ….
